Penick & Sons was selected to provide improvements and construction services to the Prince of Peace Abbey including the building of a visitor's center and the addition of 12 new guest retreat rooms. According to Jerry Brewer, project architect, "Design for the Abbey expansion was based on the Medieval - style monasteries of Europe, known for their long-lasting, simple stone construction, austere appearance and limited ornamentation."
