DINE WITH SHAMU FOOD SERVICE FACILITY, SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO DELIVERY METHOD: Design/Build ARCHITECT: Peckham, Guton, Albers & Viets Dine with Shamu is a part of SeaWorld San Diego's master plan to expand seated dining along the killer whale viewing areas of the Park.   The project included site excavation and new masonry and steel construction of a 2,400 SF food service facility and 3,400 SF covered dining area with a canvas canopy covered outdoor poolside dining area.   A cast-in-place concrete shelf and slide out ramps was constructed inside the killer whale viewing pool to allow killer whale trainers to interact with dining customer.   Construction of the facility required working around scheduled Shamu Shows.   All equipment and materials were staged in and out of the Park during off public hours. - Next -
