NORTHWEST AREA POLICE STATION CARMEL VALLEY PROJECT DELIVERY: Design Build Guaranteed Maximum Price CONCEPT DESIGN: Safdie Rabines Architects LEAD DESIGN ARCHITECT: Jeff Katz Architecture TB Penick & Sons and Jeff Katz Architect were selected by the City of San Diego as design builders for the new Northwest Area Police Station in Carmel Valley. The new 22,000 SF Police Station features colored architectural concrete walls with a ribbon of clerestory glass windows just below the roof structure. A new 5,300 SF vehicle maintenance facility is also being constructed. The northwest facility will be the hub of San Diego Police Department activity for this growing area of the City.
